About Workington Town RLFC.

Workington Town are a highly competitive semi-professional Rugby League club in Workington, Cumbria and in 2024 we will compete in BETFRED League 1 division, just 2 divisions from the top tier of Super League!

Our Head Coach is Anthony Murray who was appointed at the start of the 2023 season and steered his team to a 5th placed finish and a play off position.

In addition to the passionate residents of Workington bringing home game attendance figures, on average, to over 1000 spectators per match in 2022 (a 25% increase on 2018), the Club has worked incredibly hard to increase exposure on our website, social media and digital based advertising channels.

In 2022 our average attendance was just over 1000!

In 2023 we averaged again just over 1000, we also host our own Workington Town Ladies RLFC and also Workington Reds Ladies Football Club!
