Jason returned to Cumbrian RL from Hunslet RLFC this year, following on from a spell at Whitehaven. Previous to that Jason was a Town stalwart and fixture in the team for 11 seasons and over 200 games which was rewarded by the RFL with a testimonial year.

A tough defensive game and strong will to win are charachteristics associated with Jason and the vastly experienced centre will be an asset to this young squad.

On his return Jason had the following words to say

'I made friends for life in my initial time at the club and the club means a lot to me, it always will, it has been a large part of my rugby life and I'm excited to be back in Town colours. Personally I just want to enjoy my rugby and help Town rebuild and be very competitive in this division.'
