Signed in the close season 6ft 5" prop and over 120kg's, Reid excelled on trial and was offered his first professional contract after an excellent NCL season with Seaton Rangers. 

Grant had the following to say about the season ahead.

' It's hard to put into words what it means to represent my home town club, especially after watching the team since I was young and I'm delighted to be given the chance to be a part of it. My aims are to establish myself in the team and contribute to the club achieving it's goals for this season and the future'
