JJ Key has been on the radar of Town for a couple of years now, initially JJ came on trial ahead of the Championship season of 2022 however with the club very interested and looking to bring JJ in he opted to gain some more RL experience at Seaton Rangers ARLFC covering prop and second row options in their successful season. JJ has a great support game and a good try scoring record for a forward. 

We look forward to seeing him excel in pro rugby and he had the following to say ahead of the new season.

'As a local lad it is an absolute honour to play for your hometown club and to follow in my Grandad's footsteps  is very special for me. It would be awesome to make the playoffs and score a few tries along the way, I cannot wait to step out at Derwent Park!'
