TRAVELLERS REST SUPPORTERS CLUB ANNOUNCE SPORTSMAN’S DINNER!

An evening of rugby stories, laughter and fundraising is coming to Workington this October!

The Travellers Rest Town Supporters Club are inviting Town supporters and rugby league fans to join them for a fantastic evening of entertainment at their upcoming Sportsman’s Dinner.

Taking place on Friday 23rd October 2026 at the Washington Central Hotel in Workington, the evening promises to be a great opportunity to enjoy some brilliant rugby league stories, plenty of laughs and help support the work of the supporters club.

TWO GREAT GUEST SPEAKERS

The evening will feature two fantastic guest speakers with plenty of rugby league stories to share.

KEVIN ELLIS

One of rugby league's most recognisable names, Kevin Ellis will be joining the evening as a guest speaker, sharing stories from his career in the sport.

ZAK HARDAKER

Joining Kevin will be former England and Super League star Zak Hardaker, who will also take to the stage to share stories from his career in rugby league.

The evening will be hosted by Howard Nicholson, ensuring plenty of entertainment throughout the night.
