Workington Town is set for a fantastic day of rugby and entertainment this Sunday as we welcome Distington ARLFC for a special junior club takeover at the Fibrus Community Stadium.

It promises to be a brilliant occasion for players, families and supporters, with Distington’s young players getting the chance to be part of the matchday experience before we look to build on last weeks huge win as we take on Sheffield Eagles in an important Championship fixture.

The rugby action continues after the full-time whistle in the Gus Risman Bar with the clash between Warrington Wolves and Hull KR, before supporters can head to the marquee for live music from Ocean and a special presentation to round off the day.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for what promises to be a great day at the stadium.
