Town Injury Report

An update on our current Mens Squad injuries.

Workington Town can provide supporters with an update on the current injury situation within the first-team squad as preparations continue for the upcoming fixtures.

There has been a mix of positive news and ongoing assessments, with several players making encouraging progress in their recovery.

Jake Bradley has successfully undergone surgery following a significant ankle injury. While the operation went well, his return to action remains unclear at this stage as he begins his rehabilitation process. Everyone at the club will continue to support Jake through his recovery.

There is, however, a boost for the squad with Spencer Fulton, Tuarae Rawhiti, and Mason Lewthwaite all returning to training. The trio have now been medically cleared following their respective head injury assessments and soft tissue issues, putting them back in contention for selection in the coming weeks. Oscar Doran has also return to training is also nearing a return from his tissue injury.

Stevie Scholey is currently being monitored after sustaining a rib injury. Club medical staff are continuing to assess his progress, with no confirmed timeline yet for his return.

Ross Ainley is in a similar position, with a shoulder injury that is being closely managed. His return date is also yet to be determined as he continues his recovery.

The club will continue to provide updates as players progress, and we appreciate the continued support from fans as the squad works hard both on and off the field.
