WELCOME HOME - JONTY GORLEY NAMED NEW TOWN HEAD COACH!

Experienced and proven Championship quality coach will lead Town into 2025!
We are absolutely delighted to announce that Jonty Gorley has agreed a 2 year deal to become Workington Town RLFC head coach.
Jonty's backroom staff will see the legendary Dean Marwood and retiring half back and Hall of famer Carl Forber start his coaching journey as they form a 2 man assistant coaching team ably backed up by the returning Paul Halcrow who will head up video analysis and Paul Slone who will continue in his first team preparation, logistics and support role.
Jimmy Woolaghan will also continue in his support role at the club.
Also continuing at the club in the Strength and conditioning position is Mathew Johnson and another new face to the club is physio Courtney Stephenson.
We welcome all the new faces to the club as we aim to reset our aims against our 2027 pledge which is to become a sustainable and competitive mid championship club by 2027.
We will bring you further news, reaction and interviews in the coming weeks as we speak with our new off field team!
