We have named a 22 man squad with a very special addition in the form of LOGAN HOLGATE, a young man destined to make a career out of professional rugby until his life was cruelly cut short.

We welcome all of Logan's friends and family to Workington Town today it what will be an emotional and special day as we celebrate Logan and his England Lions Community coach Gary McMahon.

• WHY ARE WE DOING WHAT WE ARE DOING TODAY ?

We are coming together today to raise awareness and funds for a fantastic new initiative - 'Logan and Gary's Lions Heart fund' a fund designed to create a legacy of heart screening for amateur players in the respective areas where Gary and Logan lived to try and prevent this happening to other families.

For us today to join forces and raise that awareness is an honour and we hope everyone who attends will dig as deep as they can and contribute what they can to the cause.

1230 - GATES & BARS OPEN - Remember every 25p of every pint pulled will be donated to the fund!

1245 - RED LH7 MEET UP IN THE MARQUEE! - Everyone who has a top please meet and watch the MATCHDAY 18 SHIRT PRESENTATION!

1300 - FAMILY OF LOGAN WILL PRESENT THE PLAYING SQUAD WITH THEIR PLAYING SHIRTS!

1315/20 - STARS OF THE FUTURE - HENSINGHAM U12 V BROUGHTON U12s - on the pitch receiving full pro matchday experience!
