NORTH WALES CRUSADERS GAME OFF & REARRANGED.

Pitch issues means fixture rescheduled!

North Wales Crusaders statement.

“Having been unable to play home fixtures at Eirias Park for several weeks due to the grass pitch being replaced with a 4G pitch, North Wales Crusaders were extremely disappointed to be told by the stadium on 1 June that works to the pitch had been delayed and that the main pitch would not be available for use for our next scheduled home fixture against Workington on 11 June.

The news is extremely frustrating as we were told 2 weeks ago that the works were on schedule and that the stadium would be available to us, bringing the sporting and financial benefits we’ve missed out on throughout the time that the pitch was unavailable. This now means we have to find an alternative venue and seek the co-operation of the RFL and Workington for the fixture to be played at an alternative venue on an alternative date.

We have been in discussions with the RFL and Workington throughout the weekend and can advise that the fixture will take place at a venue to be decided on the weekend of 15/16 July. We share the frustrations of supporters of both clubs but the matter is out of our control. We would like to thank the RFL and Workington for their co-operation in resolving the issue.

Details of the date and venue will be announced as soon as possible"

The next time you can watch Town in action is Sunday 18th June v London Skolars at Derwent Park!
