TOWN SWOOP IN FOR 2 FORWARDS!

Locally based Dawson and Terrill join Muzza's mission!

We are delighted to confirm the return of 2 locally based forwards in the form of Hanley Dawson and Connor Terrill.

Hanley is well known to all Town fans after a significant impact in 2021 when we gained promotion after making a very smooth transition into the professional game and after taking some time away from the game in early 2022 Hanley has completed a full pre season with Barrow Raiders and subsequently signed for the Raiders but he has opted to return to Derwent Park. The utility back rower will be in contention for our next fixture.

Terrill came in on loan from Barrow Raiders late last season to boost squad numbers and played consistently well in the Championship, he followed that up with a successful season at French club VilleneuveXIII and comes in fit and ready to be in contention for a place in the squad.

We can also confirm that prop Luke Broster has been released from his contract.

Next game is Doncaster RLFC away, 7th May.
