SQUAD NEWS & PLAYER UPDATE. 

"Following the board request to reduce contracts for the remainder of the season, we’d like to thank all of the players who agreed. The club is enormously grateful and humbled for the way in which the vast number of our squad has acted in a very difficult situation. 

To update supporters; 

Connor Davies joined Dewsbury Rams and Ciaran Walker has taken the decision to leave the club.

Thank you to those players for their time at Derwent Park. 

In other squad news, Caine Barnes has unfortunately broken a bone in his foot and will be out for 4-6 weeks. Jake Lightowler is out for the long term but has had successful surgery on his knee. 

Marcus O'Brien is due to become a father so we wish Marcus and his partner a safe and joyous arrival over the weekend. 

Dave Weetman has returned from his 2 week loan and Dec O'Donnell has picked up an injury that rules him out. 

With the potential of players departing and to maintain squad size we have signed locally based Joe Kirkup, a prop forward and Ryan Scott, a back row forward on trialist terms. 

Both have been training with the group and will come into consideration for selection from next week.
