TOWN SIGN RISING SUPER LEAGUE STAR WILL TATE!

Versatile star comes on initial two week loan!

We’re pleased to announce the initial 2 weeks loan signing of talented Hull KR player Will Tate. 

Will Tate made his debut for Rovers against Leeds Rhinos back in September 2020 impressing coach Tony Smith. Tate went on to play a total of four games in the red and white during the 2020 season, scoring his first try for the club when he lined up against Huddersfield Giants.

Will was named in the 2020 Super League Dream Debut Team.

Tate then made 3 appearances for Hull Kingston Rovers in the 2021 Super League season including the 28-10 semi-final loss away at Catalans. Tate has played at full-back and on the wing for the first team but played a lot of his academy rugby league in the centres, highlighting his versatility. 

Will goes straight in contention for the upcoming derby fixture away to Whitehaven on Sunday, 7pm KO.
