This year our guest speakers will be Wigan Warriors star Mr Liam Farrell and Warrington Wolves star Mr George Williams, who will be supported on the night by our regular Master of Ceremonies Mr Howard Nicholson.

Liam Farrell: An English International professional second row rugby league footballer. A one-club
man who has had a glittering career so far, winning all there is to claim in the game, and is now one
of the key leaders in the Wigan squad. A product of the Wigan academy, having played for the
Club’s U-18 and U-21 teams. Made his debut in 2010 and went on to complete a dream first season
playing 23 games, including the Grand Final win over St Helens. A double Challenge Cup winner in
2011 v Leeds and 2013 v Hull FC. Won the League Leaders Shield in 2010, 2012 & 2020. He is a
four time Grand Final winner in 2010, 2013, 2016 & 2018, playing an instrumental part & winning
the Harry Sunderland Trophy as man of the match in 2016. Was also part of the 2017 World Club
Challenge squad that beat Cronulla Sharks at the DW Stadium.

George Williams: An English International professional rugby league footballer who plays at
scrum-half or stand-off. He joined Wigan in 2011 from local club Wigan St Patricks & was a regular
in the Academy team making his senior debut in 2013. He became a first team regular in 2014 & was
named Super League Young Player of the Year at the Man of Steel awards in 2015. Won his first
club honours with Wigan defeating Warrington Wolves in the 2016 Grand Final, which was repeated
in 2018. He was the stand-out performer in the 2017 World Club Challenge against Cronulla Sharks
helping Wigan to a 22-6 win.
He left Wigan to join Canberra Raiders for the 2020 season, and is now with Warrington Wolves.

Two outstanding Rugby League professionals, with some very interesting stories to tell and this evening is always an excellent evening’s entertainment and ideal corporate event and we hope you are able to join us this year.
