Carl Forber is back for 2021!

Popular all time record points scorer back on board!

We're delighted that Workington Town all time greatest points scorer Carl Forber has re-signed for the 2021 season. Carl has been with us for over ten years and has been an ever present for most of that time. As well as one of the most prolific kickers in rugby league, he is renowned for his all round rugby skills.

'I’m really pleased Carl has decided to go around again. As I said this time last year - he is one of our most selfless squad members, he always puts the team first and his experience is much needed in our relatively young squad. His skills and point scoring ability are well known and with how 2020 panned out it would have been disappointing if Carl hadn’t played on in 2021.'

Carl Forber said:
'I’m chuffed to have signed again and I just want to be back on the pitch with the lads as it’s been a long year without rugby. Hopefully things take a turn for the better with everything that is going on and we can have a good crack at it!'
