Town secure key Holroyd signing!

Thorman thinks fans will warm to utility back's style!

Workington town are delighted to announce the signing of exciting utility back Brad Holroyd on a one year contract.

The full back or winger joins from Leigh Centurions (he scored his debut try against Town in the 1895 Cup last season) Brad also spent time in the St Helens Academy playing in their Grand Final and represented his country at international level for the England Lions Under 19’s. 

Chris Thorman said ' Brad is a young outside back with bags of potential. I'm looking forward to working with him throughout pre-season and seeing him realise that potential. I'm sure he'll be a player the Town faithful will warm to and they'll appreciate his skills, versatility and massive enthusiasm. 

Brad said ' I've heard nothing but good things about the club so I am really pleased to sign. I can't wait to get back playing and hopefully push for promotion''
