Go to Wembley with the TOWN

1952 Challenge Cup and 1977 Lancashire Cup wins relived

We take great pleasure in announcing the following fundraising initiative by the Travellers Rest Supporters Club.

Go to Wembley with the TOWN.

This is a double header viewing opportunity:
The viewing experience will show extended highlights of the historic 1952 Challenge Cup Final victory when legendary full-back,Captain and coach Gus Risman became the oldest player to appear in a Cup final at age of 41 going on to lift the cup when our beloved Workington Town beat Featherstone Rovers 18-10 at Wembley.

Along with this footage we have a specially produced documentary with video clips, narration and photo's which combined pay a simply stunning tribute to the successful Workington Town 1977
Lancashire Cup Final winning squad who came out on top against the mighty Wigan.

This opportunity is being made available by the Travellers Rest Supporters Club to raise funds for Workington Town RLFC, with a donation also being made to ‘Rugby League Cares’ who continue to make a massive difference to many people with their outstanding work

Read more about RL Cares here:  https://www.rugbyleaguecares.o...

You can view this double header by making a minimum £2 donation by booking via the following link:
