Ethan has been with Workington Town since 2019 when he initially came on trial with a view to signing professionally. He debuted away at Whitehaven in the Ike Southward Memorial Trophy and went on to secure a contract heading into the season ended by the covid pandemic. A player comfortable at wing, centre and full back he can also play in the halves. A dedicated trainer and excellent desire to improve Ethan forced his way consitantly towards the end of the promotion season in 2021 and gained even more experience being a regular at centre in 2022. 

Ahead of 2023 season Ethan signed a new 1 year deal and had the following to say about committing again for 2023.

'It's a massive honor to represent Town again in 2023. Last year was disappointing but we're looking forward to fresh start as a squad. There's plenty of new faces and we've had a great pre-season which we're looking to build upon'
