TOWN SIGN CATALAN DUO & 21 MAN SQUAD FOR THUNDER!
28 day initial loan as Town strengthen squad.
We’re pleased to announce the arrival next week of 2 players on a months loan from Super League side Catalan Dragons. Romain Franco is a Spanish international winger/ fullback who’s made 4 Super League appearances and Florian Vailhen who’s an extremely well regarded 18 stone middle. Both will arrive in the country early next week so please give a very warm West Cumbrian welcome!
We would like to thank Catalan Head coach Steve McNamara and General Manager Alex Chan for their help in making the signings so straight forward and the Blue Knights Support group for their continued assistance that has allowed us to make these signings happen.
Both players will be available for our next home fixture v Widnes Vikings, Sunday 3rd July, 2pm KO.

Loan signings Will Tate and Tom Wilkinson have both returned to Hull KR. Stevie Scholey continues to get ever closer to a return to first team action and we are pleased to report that prop Jake Lightowler had successful knee surgery last week and now starts the road to recovery.
Ciaran Walker completes the final game of his 4 game suspension. Dec O'Donnell remains on loan at Oldham RLFC as he gains valuable game time and fitness with the League 1 club.
