game at Derwent Park against Wigan St.Patrick's ( Kick off 2:30 pm).

Coach Rotheram has named the Town team to travel to Haven in the Northern Rail Cup on Sunday.

Sunday’s Northern Rail derby game should give a clearer indication of the strength of the respective West Cumbrian rivals squads than the last meeting in the Ike Southward memorial game, when Haven won with more ease than would have been wished.

Dave Rotheram will be hoping his side perform as well as they did in the friendly last Sunday against NL1 side Leigh Centurions when a strong Halifax kick off the first competitive game of the season in the Northern Rail Cup.
