Workington Town are pleased to announce the signing of utility back Elliot Hall on a two year deal.

Elliot, the grandson of ex Australian and Team of the Century, front rower Duncan Hall, is relocating to Cumbria. He was a prolific scorer for Coventry last season with 17 tries and 12 goals in 20 appearances. Head Coach Chris Thorman said ‘Elliot is someone that has been on our radar for a while now. I was very impressed with his performance against us when Coventry defeated us earlier in the year. His try scoring record for Coventry was excellent last season with a number of Man of the Match performances. He is equally at home at full back or on the wing. At times last season we lacked a bit of pace in our backs and Elliot has that in abundance. I’m looking forward to working with him and seeing him fulfill his massive potential with us.

Elliot said ‘I'm extremely excited to join Workington Town for the next two years." "Workington is a club with such great potential and I met with Chris Thorman and directors who explained the club vision and plans. It is exciting and something I wanted to be a part of and contribute towards." "I'm looking forward to further developing all aspects of my game under Chris' strong guidance and leadership as well as a productive pre season to prepare for a successful 2020 campaign."
