TOWN NAME THEIR 21 MAN SQUAD FOR 'DERBY' FIXTURE!

Fantastic news as forward Dave Weetman makes matchday squad return!

Workington Town can now confirm our 21 man squad after our final session of the week! 

We are delighted to confirm that utility forward David Weetman returns to the matchday squad after his horrific ankle break and dislocation sustained at London Skolars away in mid 2021. Dave has worked incredibly hard to get to this point and everyone at the club is delighted to see him back.

New loan signing second row/centre Daniel Brewin from Warrington Wolves is in the squad as is outside back Will Tate from Hull KR (2 week initial loan period) and both have settled in really well to the training environment, also making a return to the 21 man squad is ex-Whitehaven man Oscar Thomas after a hamstring injury. Ex-Haven man Jordan Thomson is also in the squad. 

Luke Broadbent misses out due to illness, Jake Lightowler (knee) is out for the season due to requiring a knee reconstruction, Dec O'Donnell (shoulder) and Curtis Teare elbow/arm are out whilst Stevie Scholey continues to be making good progress towards a return from his knee reconstruction.
