Former Elbra Rangers stars 'intent' stands out for Chris!

We’re pleased to announce the re-signing of ‘’no-nonsense" Ryan Wilson for another two seasons. 

Wilson took his first steps into the professional game earlier this year, joining us after impressing in his time Ellenborough Rangers.
Despite his chances being limited due to the campaign being curtailed by the coronavirus pandemic and the shutdown of domestic rugby league outside of Super League, head coach Chris Thorman wants Ryan to be part of his plans. 

Thorman said: "Ryan is a no-nonsense, local front-rower who has made the big step up to professional rugby.
"He is really coachable and has one thing you can’t really coach and that’s playing with intent.
"I love his approach to the game and how at times last year he’d get frustrated as he was still learning a specific system or a call from the playbook because of his short time with us.
"He wants to get better and constantly improve and with his competitive nature, I’m confident he’ll do just that.
"Town fans should be very excited to see what Ryan is capable of in 2021 and beyond. 
Wilson added: "I'm glad to have signed back at Town.
"With missing last year's pre-season, I can’t wait to get the upcoming pre-season behind me and progress on.
"I'm looking forward to the next 2 seasons, up the Town!"
