LATEST SQUAD NEWS

Wellington, Hall and Bolton depart.

Since the season was officially cancelled for the bottom two divisions the off season this season is a prolonged and busy period and as usual the comings and goings are hot topics for all RL fans.

We inform you of 3 departures from the club and would like to wish all 3 players the very best of luck in the new ventures and thank them for their efforts in the famous Blue and White of Workington Town.

Firstly centre Calvin Wellington has left the club and his new club will be announced shortly with a full time environment being a particular desire for Calvin we wish him the best of luck.

Winger Elliott Hall has left the club after taking up a further education course at Leeds Beckett University and will leave as out top try scorer in 2020 after his memorable 4 tries against Keighley Cougars. Elliott declined to take up the 2nd year option on his deal and was a pleasure to have around the club and we also wish him good fortune in his career on and off the pitch.

Utility back Russell Bolton has returned to the amateur ranks with Askam as he is going to assist his brother who has become a coach at the club. Russell again was a very popular and committed professional and we wish him the very best of luck going forward.

Good luck lads and you'll always be welcome at Derwent Park!

Once a Townie always a Townie.
