MYERS AND BOWMAN EXTEND SPONSORSHIP FOR 2020!

WORKINGTON Town's oldest sponsor Myers & Bowman is set to continue as the club's main backer in 2020.

The Lillyhall car retailer stepped up to become the club's new main sponsor last season and the fruitful partnership has now been extended for next season.The company celebrated 100 years in business this year and, with head coach Chris Thorman on board at Town, is looking forward to a bright future working together with the Derwent Park club.

Town chairman Les Smallwood said: “Myers and Bowman have been a big part of Town’s history for 70 years – almost as long as we’ve been in existence as a club.“Stephen is a big Town fan but an astute businessman.“We’re glad that the profile of Myers and Bowman Toyota is enhanced through our media reach.“As a club we’re very active on social media with regular, interesting content for our significant following.“We are able to incorporate Stephen’s company aims with our club aims and the partnership works very well.“We’d like to thank Stephen and his company for their enduring support.“To have a local company with a global brand as main sponsor is an ideal situation for us as a club and we look forward to our continued relationship for many years to come."
